Level −1 · Smart Home

A home that thinks. It acts before you ask.

Lighting, heating, blinds, gate and alarm in one system. Your home responds on its own to the time of day, the weather and who is at home, and you get one panel instead of five apps.

example

Example: after dark you tap “Coming home” on your phone. The house opens the gate, lights up the driveway and the living room, raises the temperature to 21.5 degrees and turns off the alarm.

The internet goes down. Your home keeps working.

Decisions are made by a device that sits in your home. The cloud gives you access from your phone, but the house does not depend on it.

  1. A normal day The house runs itself, and your phone can see it from anywhere.
  2. The internet goes down Lighting, heating and the alarm keep working, because the rules live in the house.
  3. The internet comes back Your phone gets a summary. Nothing was lost.
Everything connected The internet is down. The house runs on its own. The internet is back. Nothing was lost.

Automations

One day in the house. Not a single click.

  • 06:30 Wake-up

The bedroom blinds go up and the bathroom is already warm.

  • 08:10 Everyone has left

The last person locks the door. The lights go off, heating drops to 18°C, the alarm arms itself.

  • 13:00 Strong sun

The living room warms up to 26°C, so the south-facing blinds come down halfway.

  • 17:40 Coming back

The gate opens. The driveway and hallway light up, the living room is at 21.5°C, the alarm switches off.

  • 23:00 Night

The lights go off and the alarm guards the outside. The bedroom window is open, so the house reminds you and the heating in that room waits.

Integration

Different devices. One home.

You do not have to buy everything from one manufacturer. What matters is that the devices talk to each other, and the hub in your home takes care of that.

  • The gate opens driveway lights on
  • Window open heating in the room waits
  • Smoke detector alarm and blinds up
  • Solar surplus the water heater warms up

We connect devices wirelessly, by cable and through manufacturers’ apps. We always check what is possible for the specific devices.

Energy

Your home knows when electricity is free.

When the solar panels produce a surplus, the house switches on the water heater, the washing machine and car charging by itself. In the evening it buys less from the grid.

Security

Your home does not depend on us.

We design it so that everything important runs in your home and belongs to you.

The logic lives in your home

Rules and scenarios run on a device that sits in your home. Without the internet and without us, the house keeps doing its job.

Your accounts and passwords

Everyone in the household signs in with their own account. For servicing we connect through an encrypted channel, and only when you agree.

Expand step by step

You start with one area, for example lighting and heating. We add more devices later without replacing the whole system.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can a smart home work without the internet?

Yes. The core functions, such as lighting, heating, blinds and the alarm, run locally. The internet is mainly needed for remote access and selected online services.

Does a smart home have to run in the cloud?

No. The cloud gives convenient remote access, but the house does not need it to work. Lighting, heating, blinds and the alarm run in the house.

What happens when the internet goes down?

A well-designed system keeps its automations running locally. For a while you only lose the functions that need the internet, such as viewing the house from your phone.

Can devices from different manufacturers be connected?

Yes, if they offer a compatible protocol or interface. We always confirm the choice for the specific installation.

Can the gate, blinds, heating and alarm work together?

Yes. They all run in one system and respond to the same state of the house: leaving home closes the gate, lowers the blinds, turns the heating down and arms the alarm.

What does the home hub do?

It joins devices from different brands into one system and makes decisions on site, even without the internet. We choose it to suit your home and devices.

Can this be done in an existing home?

Yes. We plan the installation in stages, from one area to a complete system.

Does a smart home work with solar panels?

Yes. Production and consumption data help control the water heater, heating or car charging according to the rules you choose.

Can a smart home reduce energy use?

Yes, when the automation is based on the real rhythm of the house, tariffs and device data rather than random schedules. Heating and large appliances then run when electricity is cheapest.

Can the system be expanded later?

Yes. The architecture is ready for more devices and functions without replacing the whole system.

On site, in the cloud or hybrid?

Critical functions work best locally, while convenience comes from remote access. In practice a hybrid setup is usually the right choice.
